SAIC's student-run newspaper F Newsmagazine took home the 2018 Magazine Pacemaker award as well as several individual awards in the Pacemaker Pinnacle contest. 

A new gallery space Space p11, directed by Associate Professor and Director of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects Jonathan Solomon and David L. Hays, associate professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will bring artistic design and performance to Chicago's Pedway. 

Cocktails with unusual ingredients are right up SAIC alum Annie Beebe-Tron's (MFA 2015) alley at Fat Rice, a local restaurant inspired by Macanese cuisine. 

SAIC Assistant Professor Ann Lui was named one of Crain's Chicago Business 40 under 40 for her architecture and design practice. 

SAIC faculty Abigail Glaum-Lathbury and Pete Oyler were recently featured in Newcity's Designed Objects issue. 

Artsy magazine recently celebrated the legacy of SAIC alum and renowned wood carving artist Amanda Crowe (DIP 1952).

SAIC faculty win prestigious Efroymson Contemporary Arts Fellowship Award to support their artistic practices.
