EYE to EYE Flashcards is an innovative new educational tool created by New Arts Journalism student Noël Jones (MA 2019), which aims to bring dense academic theories into the public sphere.
This spring, Newcity released its list of "Breakout Artists 2018" for the fourteenth year running. The list of “budding" image makers includes several SAIC alumni who were profiled by Newcity as artists “making insightful, mesmerizing and beautiful work.”
Two SAIC alumni, Amy Pleasant (BFA 1994) and Phillip Chen (MFA 1979), were named 2018 Guggenheim Fellows by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
