Sungho Bae receives Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award from the International Sculpture Center
Second year MFA Graduate in sculpture, Sungho Bae, has been selected by the International Sculpture Center, publisher of Sculpture magazine, to receive an Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award!
Sungho was one of 12 award recipients selected from a pool of 217 nominees representing over 100 colleges & university sculpture programs in North America and abroad! You can view their work in a virtual exhibition open now until January 31, 2021. A virtual reception will be held in conjunction with the exhibit in November 2020, dates to be announced. Keep your eyes out for the January/February 2021 edition of Sculpture magazine that will include content dedicated to the winners of the ISC Student Awards. Each winner will have an image and artist statement featured.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
