Alum and Mother Design Cards for Frontline Workers

Mother-daughter team Karen and Jane Manfredi (BFA 2017), co-founders of Good Postage, are working together to put a smile on the faces of employees at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic. The North Carolina-based paper goods company recently launched the Gratitude Collection, which aims to brighten the days of healthcare workers, grocery store employees, teachers, and more with cards and personalized, handwritten notes. “We hope that these cards will give a lift to each recipient and make them feel valued,” wrote the Manfredi’s in an article spotlighting the collection. The project’s scope goes even further; Good Postage will donate all proceeds of the collection to Feeding America, the CDC Foundation, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Foundation, the family’s local public school foundation.
