SAIC Featured on NBC Today Show

SAIC was featured on NBC Today Show as part of the special series Together TODAY. The segment focused on the Unlonely Project and fostering community connections. NBC National Correspondent Kate Snow visited the School to speak with Executive Director of Counseling, Health, and Disability Services Joseph Behen about how loneliness is perceived and addressed within the student community.

While Snow was on campus, she also spoke with a gathering of students making art with a loved one in mind. This specific exercise is intended to help reduce the student’s loneliness by working within a community of peers and completing a circuit of art making, art giving, and active art receiving.
