SAIC Faculty and Alumni Awarded Individual Graham Foundation Grants

The Graham Foundation has released its 2018 list of individual grantees. This year the Graham Foundation has awarded $534,850 to deserving projects and makers. Congratulations to the SAIC alumni awarded grants. Alumni grantees include Ashley Hunt (MFA 1998) for his work in the Degrees of Visibility exhibition; Diane Simpson (BFA 1971, MFA 1978) for her work, Architecture in Motion, in the research category; Gordon Hall (MA 2011, MFA 2011) for the exhibition The Number of Inches Between Them; and Ben Thorp Brown (MFA 2012) for his work with the film Gropius Memory Palace. Goldabelle McComb Finn Distinguished Professor of Art History David Getsy was also featured for his work curating the exhibition Rubbish and Dreams: The Genderqueer Performance Art of Stephen Varble in 1970s New York.
