Embracing Collaboration
Caitlin Baucom (MFA 2012) is organizing Spittle of the Moon to highlight artists fostered by New York's alternative and artist-run spaces. Looking toward a sustainable future beyond mainstream culture, Baucom presents a diverse group of collective and solo artists that will immerse viewers in movement- and sound-based experiences that underscore communities of collaboration. Spittle of the Moon will debut November 19 at MoMA PS1 as part of their VW Sunday Sessions.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
