Sanford Biggers Featured in Architectural Digest
Sanford Biggers (MFA 1999) was recently interviewed in Architectural Digest. Biggers, whose practice involves the reuse of vintage quilts and textiles, will be having his first solo exhibition at Marianne Boesky Gallery. The show, titled Selah, will run through October 21.
"I consider myself a late collaborator, working with this patchwork that goes over a span of decades and generations," Biggers says of his practice. "No matter how you slice it, it is an American story on a material level."
