Faculty, Staff, and Students Participate in Strategic Planning Focus Groups
In spring 2017, Provost Craig Barton hosted strategic planning focus groups with faculty, staff, and students. During these events, participants discussed aspirations and ideas for the future of SAIC. The conversations were facilitated by our partners from Bespoke Cultural Collective, who worked with the School on the Campus Master Plan. Outcomes from the focus group are being reviewed by members of the Strategic Planning Visioning Committee, the group of students, faculty, and staff who are leading the year-long, iterative process with the community that will culminate in a new strategic plan.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
