Student and Faculty Work Featured in New Boutique Hotels

The Ace Hotel and Hotel EMC2, new additions to Chicago's boutique hotel scene, both feature works by SAIC students and faculty. As part of a recent image-makeover, The Ace commissioned students and alumni to produce special works on the hotel's letterhead. You can view them in the hotel's ground floor gallery until September, when they'll be moved and hung in each of the 159 guest rooms.

Hotel EMC2 features installations by the School's Scientist-in-Residence, Dr. Eugenia Cheng, as part of its bid to blend art and science into one stylish package. In keeping with the theme, there is also a restaurant called The Albert and meeting rooms dedicated to mathematician Emmy Noether. To learn more visit forbes.com.
