Pagans and Witches Are Focus of Student's New Podcast
Brontë Mansfield (MA 2017) launched her podcast Mystic a mere 10 days ago and it's already garnering praise. Mystic, which shares the history and culture of pagan religions and the stories of past and present practitioners was recently recommended by the A.V. Club. "If Mansfield can continue turning forward motion into true progress, Mystic will be a strong contender in the podsphere," says the A.V. Club. Mystic's first episode, "Weird Sisters" was produced as part of Mansfield's master's thesis in the New Arts Journalism program.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
