Alum Featured in New York Times on List of Prominent Citizen Artists

Rirkrit Tiravanija (MFA 1986) was recently featured in the New York Times Style Magazine on a list of six citizen artists who are pushing the boundaries of protest art. Tiravanija’s work, which ranges from cooking huge meals in galleries and art fairs to large acrylic text painted on newspaper, addresses current social issues in new and inventive ways.
