USA Fellows Awards Three Members of SAIC Community
United States Artists (USA) Fellows announced their 2016 recipients. Awardees receive an unrestricted $50,000 grant. After rigorous competition for limited awards, SAIC Professor Jefferson Pinder (Sculpture, Contemporary Practices), Laurie Jo Reynolds (MFA 2000), and Beatriz Santiago Muñoz (MFA 1997) have been awarded this generous grant. Those who are selected to become USA Fellows are recognized to be among the most innovative and accomplished artists in the United States. See other artists selected as fellows at USA Fellows.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
