Film about Karl Wirsum Remastered
A 1973 film about founding member of the Hairy Who and the Chicago Imagists, Karl Wirsum (BFA 1962, HON 2016), has been remastered and digitally restored. The film, titled Karl Wirsum, gives an intimate look into Wirsum’s creative process. Karl Wirsum, directed by Suzanne Simpson, was recently shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Northwestern University Block Museum of Art.
