Alum Wins 2016 San Francisco Artadia Award
Joshua Faught (MFA 2006) has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the San Francisco Artadia Awards. This award is presented to artists working in the Bay Area and winning artists are eligible for the National Artadia Award. Faught’s work is based in textiles and their sociopolitical meaning. In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
