Four SAIC Alumni Win Fashion Design Distinction

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) recently announced this year’s inductees to CFDA+, a talent lab that helps young designers transition from top fashion schools to the global fashion market. “The 51 talents represent the best graduates selected among 240+ applications from 30 leading fashion schools around the world,” CFDA’s website explains.

Of the 51 chosen, four are recent SAIC graduates: Jack Alexander (BFA 2016), Mady Berry (BFA 2016), Noa Loewald Hu (BFA 2016), and Franky Tran (BFA 2016). The four students graduated from SAIC’s Fashion Design undergraduate program. The program—which supports designers of womenswear, menswear, knitwear, textiles, accessories, and jewelry—will give the designers global visibility.
