34 SAIC Community Members Featured on Newcity’s Art 50 List

Newcity’s annual Art 50 issue was recently released featuring 50 “artists who inspire all of us to see our city in a better, more beautiful light.” Nearly 70 percent of artists included on the list this year belong to the SAIC community, with our alums, faculty, and honorary degree recipients taking 34 of the 50 spots.

In addition to spotlighting SAIC community members, Newcity also published an interview with faculty member and alum Edra Soto, as well as a Q&A with Rhona Hoffman, who received her honorary doctorate from the School in 2015.

Congratulations to all of the SAIC community members featured on the list.
