Walter Massey One of “The 100 Most Connected in Chicago Business”

Former SAIC President and current Chancellor, Walter Massey was recently included in a piece by Crain’s Chicago Business called “The 100 Most Connected in Chicago Business.”  For the piece, Crain’s created an interactive web of institutions and prominent Chicagoans to map how the city’s business and nonprofits are linked. Massey ranked third on the list, with links to the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Science and Industry, After School Matters, and the University of Chicago.

“Influence. Access. Centrality. Who's got it?” Crain’s asks. “To find out, we took a scientific approach: We partnered with tech firm Relationship Science to assess 16,000 businesspeople in Chicago. Using RelSci's algorithms and database, info from Crain's and public sources, we identified 100 power brokers you should know.”

Visit Crain’s to see Massey’s connections and explore the other 99 Chicagoans that made the cut.
