SAIC Alumni and Faculty Receive Illinois Arts Council Agency Fellowship Awards

The Illinois Arts Council Agency recently announced the 2014 recipients of its Artists Fellowship Program, which “recognizes exceptional Illinois artists by providing awards to support continued artistic growth”. In recognition of their work and commitment to the arts, these artists have each been awarded $15,000. Included in the recipients are six SAIC community members. These are FVNMA faculty and SAIC alumna Melika Bass (MFA 2007), and faculty Daniel Borzutzky (Liberal Arts), Paola Cabal (PTDW and Contemporary Practices), Daniel Eisenberg (FVNMA), Jeremiah Hulsebos-Spofford (Contemporary Practices), and Alison Ruttan (PTDW and Contemporary Practices).
