AIADO's Lisa Norton Talks to Core77 about Design Education

SAIC faculty and Director of Designed Objects Lisa Norton was recently interviewed by Core 77 for its D-School Futures series. She spoke about the future of industrial design and said that SAIC’s Designed Objects curriculum was “distinctive because of our approach and core institutional value of ‘thinking-making.’” Asked to give one piece of advice to incoming students, she said they need to "befriend failure" in order to become more open to fresh ideas.
