SAIC Alum Participates in RedEye Chicago's Halloween Costume Challenge
SAIC alum Justin Leblanc (MDes 2012), an Assistant Professor at the North Carolina State University College of Design, was a finalist in the television show Project Runway Season 12 and he returned this year on the show's "All Stars" season. While in Chicago for a Project Runway All Stars premiere party, he participated in a RedEye Chicago Halloween costume challenge with friends, Alexander Knox and Ryan M. Beshel. RedEye also interviewed LeBlanc and fellow contestant Kate Pankoke about their participation in the upcoming season of the show.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
