Former F News Editor Receives 2014 Hugo Boss Prize

SAIC alum Paul Chan (BFA 1996) was recently named Hugo Boss Prize Winner 2014 by the Guggenheim Museum. The jury praised Chan's “singular artistic voice.” They added, “Regardless of platform, each of Chan’s indelible and at times provocative projects deftly excavates our cultural landscape. We applaud his unfettered commitment to experimentation and look forward to the continued evolution of his practice.” Chan was editor of F Newsmagazine in 1993–94. His books are published by Badlands.
