SAIC Alum Paula Crown Celebrates her First NY Solo Show

The Wall Street Journal highlights Paula Crown (MFA 2012) and the opening of her first solo show in New York. The exhibition of paintings and sculptural works is on view through March 7 at the Marlborough Gallery. A review in GOOD Magazine elaborates on Crown’s creative process, calling the works "abstract masterpieces."

Crown’s career as an artist began with a relatively recent shift in her professional trajectory. Crown worked in finance in New York and Chicago and served on the board of the Museum of Modern Art before deciding to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from SAIC.
