Artnet Features the Work of SAIC Faculty Member Jefferson Pinder
Artnet recently featured the work of SAIC faculty member Jefferson Pinder. For his work Dark Matter, Pinder worked with a troupe of break dancers, The Lionz of Zion, to create a routine inspired by the conflicts in Ferguson, Missouri, and the recent examples of police brutality. Artnet refers to Pinder as “one of the best artists to come out of Washington, D.C., in recent years.”

In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
