Chicago Tribune Reviews Exhibitions of Archibald Motley, Ian Weaver and Eldzier Cortor

SAIC faculty Lori Waxman reviewed the exhibitions of SAIC faculty member Ian Weaver and late SAIC alum Archibald Motley (1914–18) at the Chicago Cultural Center as well as the exhibition of SAIC alum Eldzier Cortor (1936) at the Art Institute of Chicago for the Chicago Tribune.

The exhibition Ian Weaver: The Black Knights' Archive runs through April 19 at the Chicago Cultural Center. The retrospective of Archibald Motley, Archibald Motley: Jazz Age Modernist, is also at the Chicago Cultural Center and runs through August 31. The exhibition of Eldzier Cortor's (1936) work, Eldzier Cortor Coming Home, runs through May 31 at the Art Institute of Chicago.
