SAIC Alum Profiled by DNAinfo

Marie Krane (MFA 2000) has been working on paintings based on the minute changes in color of the hydrangeas in her garden for the past eight years. Profiled by DNAinfo Chicago, Krane says the works are a celebration of “the extraordinary potential for human seeing.” Each day is represented by a small opaque mark, the amalgamation of which pose questions about how passing time is perceived.
