Barbara Rossi at the New Museum

The New Museum will present an exhibition of works by SAIC Professor of Painting and Drawing Barbara Rossi (MFA 1970). Rossi is considered one of the original members of the Chicago Imagists. Barbara Rossi: Poor Traits, organized by Natalie Bell, showcases Rossi’s drawings from the late 1960s and paintings on Plexiglas from the early 1970s. This exhibition is the most significant presentation of Rossi’s work since the early 1990s and her first museum exhibition in New York. It will be on view from September 16, 2015, through January 17, 2016.
