SAIC Alumni Talk to Vogue about Chicago Fashion

Vogue asked fashion designers Shane Gabier (SAIC 1995–98) and Christopher Peters (BFA 2010) about Chicago’s fashion offerings. Their label, Creatures of the Wind, has been garnering critical acclaim since its debut in 2008. Gabier and Peters recommend the area around the Art Institute of Chicago for Chicago's street-style because of the high concentration of SAIC students. Also on their list of recommendations for fashion finds and home decor is Ikram, Circa Modern, and Broadway Antique Market.
