Paper Magazine Features Student's Cactus-Inspired Collection
Current SAIC student Mady Berry’s cactus-inspired clothing designs are featured in Paper magazine’s article, “Trends with Benefits: Why are Cacti Everywhere in Fashion Right Now?” Berry’s designs were inspired by a summer trip through Arizona, and her mother’s cactus dress from college. Berry says she chose the designs because, “because it thrives in extreme environments.” Other designers mentioned who have jumped aboard the cactus train, include Kenzo, Dolce & Gabbana, and London-based designer Digby Jackson.
