SAIC Instructor Elected At-Large Director of AIA

While architect Peter J. Exley’s credo might call architecture fun, his peers take the longtime SAIC faculty member’s influential work very seriously. At the 2016 Convention, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) voted Exley At-Large Director, bolstering him from Chicago-chapter president to a position of national leadership. Along with his new title, Exley is also chair of the Public Awareness Campaign Subcommittee of the Public Outreach Committee and serves as the board liaison for the Young Architects Forum.
