SAIC Community Members Round Out CAF's Ambitious New Exhibition

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago continued its mission of reaching out to the city's wider community by taking part in the Chicago Architecture Foundation's (CAF) latest exhibition, 50 Designers, 50 Ideas, 50 Wards. The exhibition brings together transformative proposals from around Chicago and envisions new possibilities for its diverse neighborhoods. "Seeking inspiration and answers about how we might grow, enhance and improve present conditions," says CAF, "the designers studied all elements of our city—streets, bridges, buildings, waterways, vacant lots and everything in between."

SAIC participants include Ann Lui (Visiting Artist), Eric Ellingsen (Visiting Professor), Sam Stewart Halevy (Visiting Artist), Rick Valicenti (faculty), Ellen Grimes (faculty), Norman Teague (MFA 2016), Peter Exley (faculty), and Jeanne Gang (HON 2013).
