Thomas Kong's Work in Helsinki Effect

Thomas Kong's shortlisted entry for the Next Helsinki international architectural competition was published in the book, ​The Helsinki Effect: ​Public Alternatives to the Guggenheim Model of Culture-Driven Development​. In his essay, ​Back to the Starting Line, Finnish Architect and Professor Juhani Pallasmaa sounded out Thomas Kong's project​ as an example of a "decentralized or fragmented museum, which introduces new functional and spatial concepts for the art museum of the 21st century​.
