Six SAIC Community Members Named Guggenheim Fellows
The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation has named six members of the SAIC community to its 100th class of Guggenheim Fellows. The honorees are Jessica Bardsley (MAVS 2012), Joshua Faught (MFA 2006), Theaster Gates (HON 2014), Anna Mayer (BFA 2004), B. Ingrid Olson (BFA 2010), and Associate Professor, Adj. Marzena Abrahamik. Selected from a pool of nearly 3,500 applicants, the 2025 class includes 198 individuals recognized for their exceptional achievements across 53 disciplines. The announcement is part of the Foundation’s centennial celebration, which includes a refreshed brand identity, new website, and a special exhibition later this year.
