SAIC’s Alisia Medina Celebrated as Teen Vogue’s Generation Next Class of 2023

School of the Art Institute of Chicago student Alisia Medina (BFA 2024) was one of six emerging fashion designers chosen for Teen Vogue’s Generation Next. This US competition for fashion students is an annual celebration of new talent. A panel of five fashion designers, business owners, and creative directors choose winners whose profiles will be amplified on Teen Vogue’s platform in addition to receiving funds and a mentoring session.

Medina approaches fashion through writing and storytelling. Her most recent collection Te Reconozco celebrates the visual culture within the Latinx diaspora.
