Painting Portraits
Husband and wife Mohamed (BFA 1958) and Nanette (BA 1958) Drisi met while earning their degrees at SAIC. An SAIC fellowship funded Mohamed’s trip to Monaco in 1958, where he was commissioned to paint the official portrait of Princess Grace de Monaco. This experience helped them both launch portrait painting careers that span more than fifty years.
