HPRES Alumna Virginia Greene Presenting at AIA Chicago

Virginia A. Greene, AIA, architect and author, has recently completed her MS in Historic Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She will present her planning history graduate thesis – Chicago Air Rights Developments: Pivotal Legislation, Key Case Studies, and Design Innovations – and share findings on the Chicago origins of air rights legislation and planned development use over railroads. This talk will highlight three contemporary case studies in Chicago, comparing and contrasting designs and development strategies.
