F Newsmagazine Wins Major Awards from the Society for News Design and the Illinois College Press Association

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago's (SAIC) student newspaper, F Newsmagazine, was recognized by the Illinois College Press Association (ICPA) Awards. This year, their staff won first place for Online News Website and the "Sweepstakes" Award. F’s community won a total of 24 awards from the ICPA, including 11 first place awards. In addition, Art Director Jade Sheng (MFA 2021) won an excellence award from the Society for News Design for her piece White Guilt on Display Instead of Philip Guston, competing against top international news organizations including the New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN.
