Columbus Dedication

After SAIC, Tom Palazzolo (Cert. 1962, BFA 1965, MFA 1966) went on to become a renowned experimental filmmaker who has screened his work at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, among other venues. As an SAIC student, he created a film that includes scenes from the dedication ceremony for SAIC's Columbus Drive building. One speaker notes the historic significance of this event as the first time the school had classrooms above ground.
