In August of 2023, the Gene Siskel Film Center at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago reopened its doors after being closed for 18 months in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
School of the Art Institute of Chicago alum Rirkrit Tiravanija (MFA 1986) has been given his first United States museum survey at MoMA PS1 in New York, which will feature his famed interactive pieces among other works. With more than 100 artworks, Tiravanija’s show is one of the biggest that PS1 has devoted to a single artist in several years.
