Bio

My name is E. Ned Marto, and I have been teaching in the English for International Students Program here at SAIC since the Summer of 2018. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in History and Women's and Gender Studies (B.S, 2010) and a Master's Degree in History (M.S., 2013) from Illinois State University. I also hold a Master's Degree in Modern and Contemporary Art History, Theory, and Criticism (M.A., 2020) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The focus of my research is contemporary photography and snapshot culture.
