Personal Statement

Returning earth to sky and sky to night, Bailey's work is manifested as romantic landscapes with missing parts. Bailey embraces a wide range of media, from painting and photography, to video, performance, and writing. Current work explores dislocation in time and space. In her teaching philosophy, Bailey encourages the open exchange of ideas, tailoring conversations to each individual's needs. Bailey splits her time between NYC and Chicago.
