Kristin Taylor

Bio

Kristin Taylor (she/her) serves as the curator of Academic Programs and Collections at the Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP). Her curatorial projects at MoCP include exhibitions such as Reproductive: Health, Fertility, Agency currently on view at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College, and the recent exhibition Captured Earth. She is currently co-organizing Collaboration: A Potential History of Photography, an exhibition slated to open in summer 2025, in collaboration with Wendy Ewald, Susan Meiselas, and Laura Wexler.

In addition to her curatorial work, Kristin manages and frequently hosts Focal Point, the MoCP podcast that explores themes and processes in contemporary photography through conversations with artists. Kristin holds a BFA in Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute and an MA in Visual Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago, where she also teaches.
