I am currently an art therapist/psychotherapist at Head/Heart Therapy located on the northside of Chicago, IL, where I have been for 3 years. There, I specialize in BIPOC mental health, especially those of AAPI descent and mixed race heritage. I also currently lead emotional support groups for adults living with cancer at Gilda's Club Chicago. Throughout my 14 years there, I have also worked with children and families. I have also gained previous experience working with older adults living with dementia at House of Welcome Adult Day Services at the North Shore Senior Center in Northfield, IL; with couples and families at the Barrington Center for Marriage and Family Therapy; with adults in psychiatric units at Swedish Covenant Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Sheridan Shores Rehabilitation Center in Chicago, IL; with mothers and children at Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) in Chicago, IL; and with advocacy efforts for Art Therapy Connection in Chicago, IL. Besides working as an art therapist, I've done volunteer management, supervision for creative arts therapists, presentations, trainings and curation and installation of art therapy exhibits locally.
