Faculty Member Peter Exley Interviewed in Crain's Chicago Business
Adjunct Professor Peter Exley (Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects) was featured in Crain's Chicago Business. In the interview, Exley, who founded Architecture is Fun, was recently elected first vice president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for 2020 and is its 2021 president-elect, spoke about his goals as AIA president, splurging on Legos, and coming to Chicago as a pivotal life moment among other topics. "Play is a basic human right for all of us, and it's critical to wellness. Our purpose is making everyday life more fun," says Exley of the children's projects his firm manages.
