Forbes Features SAIC Alum's Jewelry Creations

Master jeweler and SAIC alum Adam Foster (BFA 2003) was recently featured in Forbes for his ultra-nuanced creations, which are appearing at Bergdorf Goodman in New York this May. In addition to being able to try on his unique creations, customers can hear the St.Louis-based jeweler speak about his creative vision and process. Foster, who was inspired by the handmade objects he saw on a trip to Italy as a boy, pursued metalsmithing at SAIC.

"In a world where so-called "luxury" behemoths market mass produced, logo-branded fine jewelry that is globally worn by the aspirational classes, the limited edition collections and bespoke pieces of Adam Foster are making a new case for de luxe jewelry that is boldly scaled, richly colored, super-chic yet utterly unpretentious," says Forbes.
