President Tenny among Crain's 2019 Notable Women Executives

SAIC President Elissa Tenny was included on a list of Crain's Chicago Business 2019 Notable Women Executives over 50. The list of 75 women executives is the first of its kind for the publication. President Tenny was noted for initiatives that include lowering the cost of undergraduate education by five percent and awarding $15,000 annually in seed funding to entrepreneur alums. Her efforts to keep the School connected to Chicago through programs such as free public courses and events at Homan Square in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood were also mentioned in addition to other accomplishments.
