SAIC Awarded 2018 Organizational Grant from the Graham Foundation

The Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts announced the recipients of its 2018 organizational grants, providing funding to foster experimentation, creativity, and discourses in architecture to 53 grantees totaling $609,500. SAIC and the University of Chicago were among the grantees selected from more than 200 proposals. The two institutions will use the grant to "continue to expand their vision of what it means to be a citizen via the 16th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale," reports the Architects Newspaper. The Graham Foundation has funded many projects through the award of more than 4,450 grants over the past 62 years—including support for more than 750 organizations—in its role as one of the most significant funders in the field of architecture.
