President Elissa Tenny Recognized as One of Chicago Business' Notable Women in Education

School of the Art Institute of Chicago President Elissa Tenny was recognized as one of "Chicago’s Notable Women in Education 2018" in Crain's Chicago Business for serving with distinction for decades. President Tenny has been noticed, not only as the first female president in SAIC’s 150-year history, but also as a “passionate advocate for arts education and elevating Chicago’s art and culture on the world stage,” reports Crain’s Chicago Business. The piece notes how President Tenny helped launch the School’s community-driven space at Homan Square, where year-long programming is held for SAIC students and the public on the West Side.
