Hong Sang-soo's Latest Film Featured in Variety
Variety recently reviewed Hong Sang-soo’s (MFA 1989) latest film On the Beach at Night Alone, which screened at the Berlin Film Festival this year.
Variety said of Hong Sang-soo’s piece, “His latest, an elegantly bisected character study of a young actress gradually coming to terms with the end of an affair, is certainly simple in ways the director’s acolytes will cherish: unfussy in form, open in expression and gentle in reach as its maker revisits such recurring preoccupations as loneliness, regret and the value of love in life and art.” Read more about the film at Variety.
