Kerry Richardson Works on Antiwar Video Game
SAIC faculty in the Departments of Contemporary Practices and Film, Video, New Media, and Animation Kerry Richardson (MFA 1996) is working on a video game through her new media art collective Plug-In Studio. The new game, which is expected to be completed by Veterans Day, is a response to and critiques the recruitment video games used by the military. The project is part of The Anti-War Games Collective: Counter Recruitment Videogames and has been awarded a 2016 Propeller Fund Grant. In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
